An award ticket is a benefit for all Victoria Frequent Flyer Programme clients. Miles earned through the programme can be exchanged for travel on TAP flights or flights on Star Alliance network airlines and other airline partners.

Children’s Tickets are for passengers aged between 2 and 11 years old. Get 45% off the miles price of an adult Award Ticket during the low season, or Saving Season, for return trips only. For high-season return and one-way tickets, get 50% off the miles price of an adult return Award Ticket. These discounts are only available for flights booked with TAP. If you book with one of TAP’s partner airlines or with the Star Alliance network, the miles price will the same as that of an adult ticket. More information here.
Yes. You can use your miles to buy Award Tickets for yourself or anyone else. However, if you're not travelling and wish to book a flight for someone else with your miles, you will have to send us a signed authorisation with a copy of an ID document verifying your signature. This process makes the use of your miles more secure and ensures that no tickets are issued without your permission.
Award Tickets cannot be bought partly with miles and partly with cash. However, if you don't have enough miles in your account for the award you want, you can buy the extra miles. More details here.

An Award Ticket is only valid for a year from the date of issue, not from the date on which the journey started. Promotional Award Tickets are only valid for the duration of the promotion.
Please contact the Victoria Customer Service Centre and request a refund of the airport charges. This is the only transaction you can request after the Award Ticket has expired.
The Award Ticket must be valid. If no more than a year has elapsed since the Award Ticket was issued you can ask for your miles to be returned. There is an administrative fee to return miles that varies depending on the route and client status. If the Award Ticket has expired, we can only refund airport charges. Miles are not returned. You can alter your travel date. Changes are only allowed if the passenger takes the initial route and the Award Ticket is valid. Victoria Gold Clients are exempt from the booking alteration charge (€30 per passenger).
If the Award Ticket has expired, we can only refund airport charges. Miles are not returned. Please contact the Victoria Customer Service Centre.
You must cancel your booking so that you are not a No-Show. When you have your new dates, please contact the Victoria Customer Service Centre again and rebook under the above conditions. You can only rebook your travel if the Award Ticket does not expire before the end of your journey.
Yes. The airport charges will be refunded. Please contact the Victoria Customer Service Centre.
If you are not going to travel, you must contact us up to 24 hours in advance to cancel your flight or booking, otherwise you will be considered a No-Show. If you want to reuse your Award Ticket later, there will be a booking reactivation charge of €80 per passenger in addition to the administrative charges for changing the dates or returning miles.
No. Award Tickets are only available for adults and children aged 2 to 11 years. Children aged 0 to 2 do not occupy a seat. This means that you can book an adult Award Ticket and then ask the TAP Contact Centre to issue a child's ticket.
Yes, if the child is aged between 5 and 11. You will have to make the booking at the Victoria Customer Service Centre. There are special procedures, so it is not possible to book unaccompanied minors online.
All children under 12 years of age travelling alone are considered unaccompanied minors. If you want to book with an Award Ticket for a child under 12 travelling alone, you will have to contact our Victoria Customer Service Centre or a TAP office near you. If you have not yet completed your online booking, you can give the names of new passengers. It is not possible to change a passenger's name after the booking has been completed. Please contact the Victoria Customer Service Centre.
