On certain occasions, a choice of flights and destinations with TAP Portugal may involve an involuntary overnight stop at Lisbon due to TAP flight scheduling. That is to say that the scheduled arrival of a flight at Lisbon from your origination country will not connect with another same-day flight to your choice of destination.
Under these circumstances, TAP will, at the hotel of its choice, provide overnight hotel accommodation on a complimentary basis. In addition, it will provide a following morning continental breakfast - prior to the onward flight from Lisbon to your destination.

Any customers travelling to/from Manchester (MAN) and any long-haul destination* i.e. Salvador (SSA), Rio de Janeiro (GIG), Miami (MIA) etc or customers flying from Maputo, Johannesburg and Algiers to London (LHR/LGW), where there are no scheduled same-day connections - TAP will offer the BDL facility. Some conditions apply, namely:-
- To/from Manchester in any direction & destination* - all fares/rates apply
- All flight segments must be booked/ticketed on TP/NI operated flights
- BD (bmi International flights) between MAN/LHR to Lisbon via TP are also eligible
- Group sales are eligible
- Subject to hotel availability
- Unaccompanied minors are not eligible
- AD/ID/prize-winner tickets are not eligible
* flights to/from Lisbon & Casablanca or Marrakech not applicable (London and Manchester applies).

- This programme is only available in some markets, depending on the fare in question.
- The service must be booked in advance at the same time as the flight.
- Once the journey has started, the hotel booking cannot be altered and in this case, the passenger will automatically forfeit the right to the booking.
- Check-in time at all hotels is after 1 p.m. and check-out is by midday.
