Valencia’s area, thanks to its privileged location near to the Mediterranean, has several long sandy beaches with inviting water temperatures. In the surroundings one can find less explored havens, where it is possible to take advantage of the sun in maximum tranquility.

There are beaches in the center of town or easily accessible by car and public transport, but for those who want to take advantage of the most famous and more frequented bathing areas, there is nothing like a trip to Alicante, Benidorm and Castellón. The beach of Malvarrosa is the most central beach of Valencia and the more sought by sportsmen, since it has volleyball nets, a beach-rugby field and a cycle way. Deves, Recati, Cabaña Arenas, Pines, Mareny de San Llorenç and Dossel beaches are very well situated, having various support services and infrastructures towards sporting. Quieter is Saler beach, located inside Albufeira Natural Park, and protected by natural dunes. The Arbe del Gos, also in the Natural Park, is equally quiet. Further away, Levante beach, between Punta Pinet e Punta Canfali, situated on a bay, is the liveliest of this cost: clear water, white sand, palm trees and several restaurants, cafés and bars in the area create an ambitious paradisiacal environment with all the conveniences of urban life. The Cala del Moraig, Les Platgetes de Bellver e Del Portet are harder to reach and, so, ideal for those who prefer to catch some sun peacefully, without the company of hundreds of people.
