City Break

Venice is one of those cities that, if possible, everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. It is also a city that calls constantly to discovery. However, there are binding sites such as the Rialto Bridge, Piazza San Marco, the Ducal Palace (Palazzo Ducale) and the Grand Canal. And of course, a gondola ride.

Venice is a city made up of small islands separated by canals and linked by several bridges. The "vaporetto" are the boats that cross the Grand Canal, offering one of the best ways to experience the city, although the gondola ride ensures a more traditional and romantic experience. The Piazza San Marco is one of the most famous and one of the liveliest places in Venice. In addition to famous monuments such as the Basilica San Marco, great example of Byzantine architecture, the Plaza is also a leisure center, with cafes and restaurants. It is the lowest point in Venice, so in times of rain it suffers frequent flooding. In front lays the Bell Tower, with its clock that provides not only the time but also the phases of the moon and the zodiac. At the top of the tower, the bell is flanked by two beautiful stone statues. Another symbol of the city is the Palazzo Ducale, with its rose-colored marble facade, Gothic style and very rich interiors. Also mandatory is the Rialto Bridge, one of the most famous monuments of the city that for about 400 years was the only way to cross the canal.
