TAP Portugal

It is the home to the United Nations and the Red Cross. It is a hymn to security and culture. Museums and immense green and leafy parks turn this city into a real idyllic painting.

This is the second Swiss city, in terms of population, right after Zurich. It houses over 180 thousand people and works as the headquarters for numerous international organisations, namely the United Nations and the Red Cross. For that reason, some people call it the Capital of Peace. Located in the banks of Lake Léman and bordering France, Geneva is a clean and organised city. It is also considered to be one of the cities with the best quality of living, especially for its educational system, seen as one of the best worldwide. As well as this, it is one of the most important financial centres in the planet. Maybe this is why so many foreigners live in this city. Over 43% of the population of Geneva comes from outside Switzerland. It is a peaceful, tranquil and safe city, as well as cult and historic. It has houses residents such as Rousseau and Voltaire and nowadays receives tourists with great museums and beautiful parks, especially in the summer, when temperatures go up. The average annual temperature in Geneva is 10 degrees. Despite raining frequently, the proximity to the mountains turn Geneva into one of the driest cities in the country.
