The Iberian Wolf Recovery Center (CRLI) was created in 1987 with the objective to provide an environment in captivity that is appropriate for wolves that cannot live in freedom.
The wolves at the CRLI live inside enclosures with dimensions according to the size of the pack present, with a good vegetable cover, heterogeneous topography and providing good shelters. The wolves can be observed in unique conditions, from the observation towers, placed at strategic points, with a wide view to the different enclosures. The CRLI is not a Zoo, but a sanctuary for wolves that cannot continue to roam free in Nature. The well-being of the wolves being the main concern of CRLI, there are some conditions and restrictions to visit this institution.
