In Lisbon, we can find the Vasco da Gama Aquarium, which was inaugurated in 1898, at the urge of King D.Carlos I, and whose main object is to make the aquatic life known.
A Museum with a vast diversity of preserved and naturalized specimens, among which the D. Carlos I Oceanographic Collection and an aquarium exhibiting more than 250 sweet and salt water species, from both hemispheres, which allow a close contact with the wealth of the aquatic environment, stand prominent.
To observe all these specimens, when you present your boarding card on arrival at the continent or a TAP ticket receipt, you will be given a 33% discount at the Vasco da Gama Aquarium.
This promotion is valid from January to December 2008.
