This baggage is carried in the hold and for safety reasons, in the same aircraft the passenger is travelling on.

Checked baggage must not contain the following items:
- fragile items
- valuable items
- perishable items
- dangerous goods
The following items are considered dangerous:
- Explosives, including detonators, fuses, grenades, mines and explosives;
- Gases, including propane and butane;
- Flammable liquids, including gasoline and methanol;
- Flammable solids and reactive substances, including magnesium, fire lighters, fireworks and flares;
- Oxidisers and organic peroxides, including bleach and car body repair kits;
- Toxic or infectious substances, including rat poison and infected blood;
- Radioactive material, including medicinal or commercial isotopes;
- Corrosives, including mercury and vehicle batteries;
- Vehicle fuel system components which have contained fuel.

- Children under 2 years of age are allowed 1 piece of luggage up to 10kg.
- In journeys with Piece Concept, the following rule is always applied - 3PCx23kgs (Executive Class) e 2PCx23kgs (Economy Class)
- When the journey has origin or destination in routes with Piece Concept (regardless of stopovers), the Piece Concept rule is applied.
