Self Check-In

From October 30 2007, TAP has offered an additional service for passengers with flights from Lisbon Airport. Several Self-Service Check-in machines have been placed in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 in the Check-in areas and also in P2, allowing passengers to make their own check-in and choose their onboard seat in a matter of seconds.

This service is also available from Oporto Airport. The machines are located next to the TAP Sales Outlet and to Groundforce's Customer Service Counter.

The Self Check-In is available for all passengers traveling on flights operated by TAP* with or without checked baggage, and who have electronic tickets, even if these were issued by another airline.

Checked baggage can be handed in at the specified drop-off desks in both Terminals.

As another option, besides only being identified through the electronic ticket number, passengers may opt to use their Victoria Membership number, as long as it has been given when the booking was made.

In the future, this service will be extended to other airports, as part of TAP’s commitment to continually improve its customer service.

* With the exception of passengers with resident or student ticket tariffs from the Azores and passengers travelling to the USA. This service is available only 24 hours prior to flight departure and up to the stipulated cut-off time.
