TAP offers a special campaign for college students.

     
 

Special Campaign

TAP is the best friend for both University and Erasmus students. Following on from the success of the recent initiative, TAP has relaunched a special campaign for University students offering an extra piece of luggage with 10 kg completely free of charge.

Campaign conditions:

  • For students who purchase one-way tickets or round trip tickets between the Autonomous Regions and mainland Portugal, which may be purchased in mainland Portugal or in the autonomous regions;
  • For Erasmus students or for students on other University exchange programmes in Europe, the excess luggage will only apply when they purchase either a one way ticket departing from Portuguese airports or a round trip ticket with the journey starting at Portuguese airports.

This offer is available immediately and shall continue to apply until stated otherwise. 

Details:

TAP will therefore transport an extra piece of luggage with 10 kg, totally free of charge, for any student complying with the above conditions.

This translates to the transportation of:

  • A total of 2 pieces of 33 kg in economy class (tap|plus, tap|classic, tap|basic, tap|discount) 
  • A total of 3 pieces of 74 kg in business class (tap|executive), whatever the ticket price paid by the student.

To benefit from this promotion:

  • Bookings can be made through any TAP channel or in travel agencies. 
  • At check-in students must show their University card or a letter confirming their registration in a European exchange programme.
