Access to Passenger Data by US Customs In compliance with requirements of the U.S. Government, TAP, allows U.S. Customs and Border Protection to access certain travel and reservation data (referred to as "Passenger Name Record" or "PNR") of passengers flying to, from or through the U.S. These data are used primarily for preventing and combating terrorism and other serious criminal offences.
