Express Meal
An express meal is available in tap|executive class, on long flights, made up of the passenger's choice of fresh salad, soup, entree, cheese, sweets and fruit. If the passenger wishes to rest until later, a small express lunch will be served to him/her up to 45 minutes before landing.
Observation:
These meals should be requested of the cabin crew at the beginning of the flight.
Meals
In addition to the meals served in-flight and for health or religious reasons, TAP will supply, whenever requested and available by the catering services, at no additional cost, the following meals:
- AVML – Hindu vegetarian meal
- BBML – Baby's meal (up to 2 years old)
- BLML – Mild/lightly seasoned meal
- CHML – Child’s meal
- DBML – Diabetic meal
- FPML – Fruit Meal
- GFML – No gluten meal
- HNML – Hindu meal
- KSML – Kosher meal (prepared in accordance with Jewish diet)
- LCML – Low calorie meal
- LFML – Low cholesterol meal
- LSML – No salt meal
- MOML – Muslim meal
- NLML – Low lactose meal
- SFML – Fish meal (shellfish fish not included)
- VLML – Vegetarian meal (with dairy products and eggs)
- VGML – Vegan vegetarian meal (without animal products, dairy products and eggs).
These meals are available in both classes on long flights and in the tap|executive class on medium duration flights.
In the Economy Class on medium duration flights, only special Kosher and child's meals are available. If there is any other type of limitation or if travelling with someone with any other type of preference, don’t forget to place your request at the moment of making the reservation.
We advise that passengers with serious allergies to a specific type of food must contact our call center informing what the type of allergy is (e.g.: severe nut allergy). This way TAP can take the necessary measures to ensure meals that may cause an allergy are not served to passengers.
