City Break

Between Buda and Pest, become enchanted with the beauty of a city full of secrets, some tradition and mysticism. What the Danube bridges bind. So be sure to visit both left and right margin of the river that crosses this beautiful city. Do not spend all the energy during the day, visiting museums and castles. The night in Budapest is a must.

Depending on the selected hotel, a visit to the city can start in Buda or Pest. From Buda, that is an ideal zone to discover on foot, make your first stop in the Buda Royal Castle, declared a World Heritage Site in 1988. Then follow to Mathias Church and Fishermen's Bastion, which stands out to its seven towers. Climb to the viewpoint of St. Gerard and confirm the beauty of the city due to its panoramic view. On the opposite side, Pest, you should begin the visit with Heroes' Square to appreciate and then, why not try the spa complex Széchenyi. From the list of places to visit are still Vorosmarty Square, with its typical cafes, Vajdahunyad Castle in the small island which also houses the zoo, Andrássy Avenue, St. Stephen's Cathedral and Parliament. From one side or the other enjoy the beauty of the buildings that justify a comparison to cities such as Paris or Vienna, enhanced by a rich cultural life that spreads over more than 200 museums and theaters, situated in palaces and monuments. Consider a boat ride on the Danube mandatory. In addition, meet the ten bridges of city, the best known Széchenyi Lánchíd (Chain Bridge). At night, enjoy everything the city has to offer, from great restaurants to lively bars.
