Throughout the city there are shops capable of awakening the temptation of shopping and if you don’t find what you’re looking for at first, you need not go very far, since the stores selling the same type of items are very close to each other.

The city center is a good starting point for shopping, since here are located not only the big brands, but also smaller boutiques, craft shops, department stores and places where they sell the typical souvenirs. The streets Saint-Ferréol, la Tour (which they call the Fashion Street) and Cours d'Estienne d'Orves are unavoidable places in this area of the city. Near the City Hall decoration items, bijouterie, jewelers and bookstores can easily be found, whilst in Paradis and Grignan streets host luxury brands and stores with a more alternative fashion. In the area of the Stock Exchange are the big department stores, but those looking for regional products must go to the old Port. Art galleries and studios of painters, sculptors and potters are mainly concentrated in the old part of the city, where you can find many shops where it is possible to taste typical products such as chocolate or olive oil. The Rue de la Republique, filled with trees is especially pleasant in warmer weather, offering a wide variety of international branded shops. The area of Cours Julien and Notre Dame du Mont is known as the Creators Quarter, thanks to the profusion of spaces for new designers. Large shopping centers are located outside the city, with roads linking to the outskirts.
