Kilometres of coastline with turquoise blue and fine sand beaches who invite you to rest, but also to practice sports. Inland, there are volleyball fields and cycle paths; at sea, you have the perfect conditions for diving and jet ski.

Miami has more than 11 kilometres of coastline, an excellent climate and over ten breath-taking beaches. Almost all of them have showers, restaurants and cafés in the proximity and many offer free parking. It is impossible to resist the appeal of places like South Beach, the most famous beach, where you can have pick-nicks, go fishing, observe the movement of boats, play volleyball, walk or simply relax in the white sands, enjoying the shade brought from palm trees. Miami Central is equally well-known. The area along the dunes is one of the favourite places for jogging, and there are also spots where you can rent equipment for water sports. Further north, Miami North has the extra feature of having grass and shade, perfect to spend the times when the sun is more intense. At the Oleta River State Park, also in the Northern area, there are green areas and leisure spaces. Surfside Beach (www.town.surfside.fl.us) is, such as the name indicates, great for surfing, while Virginia Key Beach offers good conditions for windsurfing. The southern part of this beach is the only area where dogs are allowed and is close to a natural reserve where we can find different bird species. Bal Harbour Beach (www.balharbourflorida.com) is one of the calmest beaches, but there is no surveillance or showers.
