TAP Portugal has changed, starting on December 5th, its free Hand Baggage allowance. Each adult or child passenger is now allowed to carry 1 piece with a maximum weight of 8 kilos (17 pounds) when travelling in Economy class, or 2 pieces with a maximum combined weight of 16 kilos (35 pounds) in Executive class.

For your comfort and safety, we are obliged to limit the size and weight of hand baggage allowed on board.

When checking in, ensure that it falls within the recommended limits and hand it over for labelling.

Please make special note of the dangerous items not allowed in hand baggage. They are indicated on your ticket. Check Prohibited baggage area for more information.
