City Break

Reborn from the ashes, Munich is a cosmopolitan city of great beauty with special attention towards quality of life. Beer is one of its symbols, but there is much to discover in the Bavarian capital.

Who arrives has a major goal, experiencing the famous beers, preferably in a one-liter mug in the traditional way. Expectations will not be failed, because it is not only during the renowned Oktoberfest that Munich is the ideal place to eat the typical German sausages and drink a beer. But the Bavarian capital has much to offer, from cosmopolitan modernity (the city was rebuilt after World War II) to a recovered heritage. The list of places to visit in the Bavarian capital is huge. Therefore you cannot afford to miss the English garden, where you’ll find the Chinese Tower which is the second largest brewery in the city. Equally unforgettable is the Theresienwiese, one of the major squares in Munich. It is in this huge square that is held every year the Oktoberfest, the biggest beer festival in the world. The Münchner Residenz (Munich Residence), considered one of the most beautiful palaces of Europe and should also be part of your itinerary in the city, as well as Marienplatz (Mary's Square), where besides the Column of Mary you can enjoy the Neues Rathaus (City hall building) and its famous carillon with large wooden dolls that move for several minutes.
