At the forefront of air cargo transport in the Portuguese market, TAP Cargo transported more than 92 thousand tons of cargo and mail in 2007 representing growth of around 12% in relation to the previous year.

TAP Cargo's mission is to maximize the results of management by better use of space available for cargo and mail on TAP aircraft and also by exploring new business opportunities.

Investment in growth through modernization is reflected in the offer of new products and new operating procedures capable of creating added worth for customers. More specifically:

1. Entry into operation of chartered cargo flights to destinations where regular TAP flights available are insufficient.

2. Enrolment in GF-X system enabling agents to make online bookings.

3. Creation of added worth products to meet demand needs.

4. Establishment of partnerships with other companies enabling a wider range of destinations to be offered in response to customer demand.

It is with this focus that TAP Cargo intends to continue to grow in 2008.
