Lisbon Walker, the new way of walking around Lisbon.
Beginning on November 1, there will be something new in the streets of Lisbon. There will be daily thematic walks, in English, which do not require bookings or prior reservation.
The Lisbon Walker guides are awaiting for you in the northeast corner of Praça do Comércio, to take you through the effects of the 1755 earthquake in Lisbon or to take you for a walk along 2.500 years of History, from the time when the first civilizations settled in Lisbon, their activities and history, up to the birth of the Modern State in Portugal.
“The 1755 Earthquake” walk takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, at 14H30.
In the scope of the commemoration of the event’s 250 years, there will be walks in Portuguese on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 17H00 and on Saturdays at 10H00.
“The Old City” walk begins at 10H00, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
