From October 30 2007, TAP is offering an additional service for passengers with flights from Lisbon Airport. Several Self-Service Check-in machines have been installed in Terminal 1 by the Onboard Reading Desk, to enable passengers to carry out their own check-in registration and choose a seat in a question of seconds.
The service is available for all passengers traveling on flights operated by TAP* with or without stowed baggage and who have electronic tickets, even if these were issued by another airline company.
Stowed luggage can be dispatched from desks 88 and 89 in Terminal 1 and desk 204 in Terminal 2.
With the option of identification via the electronic ticket number, passengers can opt to use their Victoria frequent flyer number as long as this was chosen when the booking was made.
In the future this service will be extended to other airports as part of TAP’s commitment to continually improving customer service.
* With the exception of passengers on resident or student ticket tariffs to the Self-Governing regions of Madeira and the Azores, as well as for passengers to the USA. This service is available only 24 hours prior to flight departure and up to the stipulated cut-off time.
