TAP has broaden its routes within Germany, through the code-share with Deutsche Bahn, which allows connections by train to Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Hannover, Stuttgart and Nuremberg, through/via the airports of Frankfurt and Munich.

Rail & Fly Inclusive permits to ease the access of the passengers, resulting therefore, in better comfort to all of TAP’s clients.

This offer gives continuity to the on going goal of TAP, of privileging the vast and better level of satisfaction of the services offered to the clients/passengers, who now have available more comfortable and efficient connections.

This offer is also valid for all of the regular trains within Germany, including the EuroCity (EC), Intercity (IC), InterCityExpress (IEC) and the “Ice Sprinter”, as well as for the special trains, namely the “Metropolitan”, and trains for the transportation of cars.

Our code-share with Deutsche Bahn, will take you directly from the airport of Frankfurt to the bigger centers in Germany.

The train stations for the longer journeys are situated on the Airport of Frankfurt, which offers direct connections to Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Hannover, Cologne, Nuremberg and Stuttgart.

After arriving on terminal 2 of the airport of Frankfurt, you will only need to collect your luggage, go through customs and follow onto the train station either by foot or by bus (shuttle bus every 5 minutes).

It is not necessary to do a new check in; the passenger only has to board the train.
There are no luggage restrictions (size/weight).

The passenger is responsible for its own luggage, and will have/having access to the luggage compartments on each carriage.

There are also available, individual padlocks for hand luggage.
Depending on the type of train, there is still the possibility of having access to drinks and snacks during the journey.

Bookings for these routes are only available through either TAP’s Call Center or any TAP Office.
