    Credit card

    Credit cards are the most popular method used for bookings.

    You can choose one of the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners and UATP, and your card will be debited immediately.

    The MBNet service is available, but presently only in Portugal.

    When booking an e-ticket less than 24 hours before the flight’s departure you may not be able to complete the operation for security reasons. If this happens we suggest you contact TAP.

    Note: Visa, Mastercard and American Express are only available for bookings made at least 24 hours before departure; Diners and UATP cards are not available to Victoria Clients.

    Alipay

    Alipay is the most commonly used online payment solution in China. It allows millions of private and professional clients to make and receive payments via the Internet, simply, safely and conveniently. Alipay is part of the Alibaba Group and payment can also be made in 13 different currencies. 
    It is partnered with more than 160 financial institutions, including some of the main Chinese regional and national banks, as well as Visa and MasterCard, in order to simplify payments within the Chinese market and abroad. 

    How do you use Alipay?

    After choosing your itinerary and the number of passengers at flytap.com, you will be redirected to the Purchase Page where you can opt to pay in Yuan Renminbi (CNY), instead of Euros. To do so select payment using Alipay. Once all passenger information has been filled out, just click on “Reserve Now” where you will be redirected to the Alipay page.
    Once authenticated and the payment in CNY has been confirmed by Alipay, you will be directed back to the TAP website where you will receive the confirmation of your booking, together with an email specifying all the payment details of your reservation and the number of your electronic ticket.

    PayPal

    PayPal is a system of money transfer through an email account which allows for secure payments.

    This system covers worldwide bank accounts and credit cards.

    A fee of €4 per ticket is payable when paying through PayPal.

    Security

    PayPal offers one of the securest payment platforms in the world.

    All the financial information (bank account details and credit card number) is stored and carefully encrypted on this system’s servers: the personal data of each user is totally confidential.

    Another of the benefits associated with the PayPal system is the Purchase Protection Program. Under this program, if a user does not receive a product they bought or has not authorised a certain payment they can get that amount back.

    How to use PayPal

    The PayPal system is very simple to use and it is used by more than 123 million people worldwide. It is an accessible and secure way to pay for your purchases on the Internet, on your smartphone or tablet.

    Creating a PayPal account is completely free: simply register a credit card and you will be able to make purchases over the internet.

    The information is entered only once and when you make any purchase you only need to enter the email address and password to authorise any payment.

    Payment at ticket desks

    Payments at ticket desks can be made using:

    • credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club and UATP);
    • debit card;
    • certified cheque;
    • and cash.
