Our cuisine is unique.  

Here the aromas have been refined over more than 8 centuries. The spices crossed oceans to reach our dishes. The wines climbed mountains and painted magnificent landscapes.


Because our cuisine is Portugal and because TAP is Portugal, we challenged 5 of the best Portuguese chefs to serve our best dishes to our customers and the whole world.


Henrique Sá Pessoa, Ricardo Costa, Rui Paula, Tiago Bonito and our chef Victor Sobral are the ambassadors of the national cuisine now served on board.

From Trás-os-Montes, he won his first Michelin star at his Casa de Chá de Boa Nova restaurant. He is a chef who seeks out the most modern and avant-garde trends without ever losing the genuine taste, with memory as the primary source of inspiration.

Ricardo Costa, who has won two Michelin Stars and several other awards, is a dedicated enthusiast of Portuguese cuisine, trying to show the best of Portugal, the local products, the traditional recipes, with a contemporary gastronomic approach and innovative techniques.

Vitor Sobral
He has earned the title of commander, and so needs no introductions. He leads the most international Portuguese restaurant group, with places in Portugal and Brazil. He is considered to be the professional who changed the Portuguese food industry and cuisine.

He won his first Michelin Star at the age of 30, at the Largo do Paço Restaurant in Amarante. His creations tell a story, striving for originality and the authenticity of flavors.
