His effort, determination, and professionalism were there for all to see when at the age of 29 he won his first Michelin star at the Bon Bon restaurant (in Carvoeiro, Algarve), where he was head chef from 2016 to the start of 2018. 
With a gastronomic language that is strongly based in French technique, he daringly transformed improbable connections in dishes that are both emotional and full of flavor.
He believes that carefully selected local produce makes a difference to every dish and this, together with his art, emerges in a memorable way. 
He has now begun a new project in Lisbon, the Restaurante Quórum.
