  • Check your eligibility

    Find out if your miles programme status means you are eligible to take part in the challenge.
  • Join TAP Miles&Go

    When registering, include a photograph of the membership card of the programme with which you're applying*.
  • Join a Club or purchase miles

    You must join a Club TAP Miles&Go or purchase miles by 31 March 2020 in order to obtain Silver or Gold status.
  • Enjoy!

    If your application is approved you will be awarded Silver or Gold status valid until 31/03/2021.
  • Earn miles and keep on enjoying

    You can keep your TAP Miles&Go status if you earn a defined number of Status Miles by 31/03/2021**.
* If you are registered in the program since January 1, 2020, you can participate in the TAP Miles&Go Challenge, by sending an email to promo@tapmilesandgo.com.

** 25,000 Status Miles for Gold Clients and 10,000 Status Miles for Silver Clients.

Clients with Star Alliance company cards are not eligible.
The Challenge is available to new TAP Miles&Go Clients who are already members of selected other miles/status programmes and who are interested in finding out about the benefits of TAP Miles&Go Silver and Gold status. The TAP Miles&Go Challenge offers the chance for those who meet the requirements to temporarily obtain this status.
To be eligible, you must be a member of a status/miles programme that is covered by this scheme (see below). Only registered TAP Miles&Go clients will automatically be eligible to participate in the Challenge from Mars 2, 2020. When registering with the TAP Miles&Go Programme, you must provide your Customer Card from another eligible Miles Status/Program that proves you have a status that is the equivalent of the TAP Miles&Go status you are applying for. If you are already registered in the Program since January 1, 2020 you can participate in the Challenge by sending an email to promo@tapmilesandgo.com, with your name and TAP Miles&Go Client number, as well as your Customer Card from another eligible Miles Status/Program that proves you have a status that is the equivalent of the TAP Miles&Go status you are applying for. 

Once you have signed up you must join a Club TAP Miles&Go or purchase miles at our miles store in order to be eligible for Silver or Gold status.

You will receive an email confirming your application, along with your digital Client Card by 20 April. You will have access to the benefits upon confirmation.
Until 31 March 2021. However, you can renew for an annual accumulation period if you meet the following conditions:
  • Earning 25,000 Status Miles (Gold);
  • Earning 10,000 Status Miles (Silver).
  1. For Clients to be eligible to take part in the TAP Miles&Go Challenge, they must provide a digital photograph of their partner programme membership card along with their application;
  2. This card must contain the following information: name, status/category and eligible validity;
  3. This card must be currently valid;
  4. Clients with Star Alliance company cards are not eligible;
  5. See the table above for information on eligible programmes and statuses;
  6. Only registered TAP Miles&Go Clients will automatically be eligible to participate in the Challenge from Mars 2, 2020;
  7. If you are already registered in the Program since January 1, 2020 you can participate in the Challenge by sending an email to promo@tapmilesandgo.com, with your name and TAP Miles&Go Client number, as well as your Customer Card from another eligible Miles Status/Program that proves you have a status that is the equivalent of the TAP Miles&Go status you are applying for;
  8. In addition to proving membership of an eligible partner programme, Clients are only eligible for Silver or Gold status upon joining a Club TAP Miles&Go (any one of the plans is valid) or by purchasing miles in the miles store (no minimum purchase) by 31 March 2020;
  9. Allocation of Silver or Gold status depends on meeting the eligibility requirements and upon validation of the TAP Miles&Go Programme application;
  10. Silver or Gold status is allocated for a period of 1 (one) year, until 31 March 2021;
  11. Notification of Silver or Gold status allocation will be confirmed by email, by April 20;
  12. It is possible to extend TAP Miles&Go Gold status acquired via the Challenge by earning 25,000 Status Miles by 31 March 2021;
  13. It is possible to extend TAP Miles&Go Silver status acquired via the Challenge by earning 10,000 Status Miles by 31 March 2021;
  14. TAP Miles&Go Silver or Gold status extensions will be valid for one annual accumulation period;
  15. Gold or Silver Star Alliance clients are not eligible to take part in these challenges.
