What happens if I can't use my MilesOnly, Miles&Cash or Award Ticket for any reason?

If you are unable to use your TAP Miles&Go MilesOnly, Miles&Cash or Award Ticket for any reason and would like to have your miles back, then you must cancel your journey no later than 24 hours before departure.The miles will be re-credited to your account and keep their original validity, if you have not yet used one part of your ticket and it is still valid. If it was partially used or isn’t valid anymore, we will debit your credit card with a service fee.

How long is a MilesOnly, a Miles&Cash or an Award Ticket valid for?

MilesOnly, Miles&Cash and Award Tickets are only valid for a year from the date of issue, not from the date on which the journey starts. Promotional MilesOnly, Miles&Cash and Award Tickets are only valid for the duration of the promotion.

I didn’t use my MilesOnly, Miles&Cash or Award Ticket. What should I do to get my miles back?

The MilesOnly, Miles&Cash or Award Ticket must be valid. If no more than a year has elapsed since the MilesOnly, Miles&Cash or Award Ticket was issued you can ask for your miles to be returned. There is an administrative fee to return miles that varies depending on the route and client status. If the MilesOnly, Miles&Cash or Award Ticket has expired, we can only refund airport charges. Miles are not returned. Please contact the TAP Miles&Go Customer Service Centre.

Can I choose not to reuse the MilesOnly, Miles&Cash or Award Ticket instead of getting the miles back?

Yes. The airport charges will be refunded. Please contact the TAP Miles&Go Customer Service Centre.

I have a MilesOnly, Miles&Cash or Award Ticket and I want to change the travel date. Can I do that?

You can alter your travel date. Changes are only allowed if the passenger takes the initial route and the MilesOnly, Miles&Cash or Award Ticket is valid. TAP Miles&Go Gold Clients are exempt from the booking alteration charge (50 Euros per passenger).If the MilesOnly, Miles&Cash or Award Ticket has expired, we can only refund airport charges. I can't travel on the original dates, but I don't have new travel dates yet. What should I do?

You must cancel your booking so that you are not a No-Show.When you have your new dates, please contact the TAP Miles&Go Customer Service Centre again,and rebook under the above conditions.You can only rebook your travel if the ticket does not expire before the end of your journey.

What is the No-Show charge?

If you are not going to travel, you must contact us up to 24 hours in advance to cancel your flight or booking, otherwise you will be considered a No-Show.If you want to reuse your MilesOnly, Miles&Cash or Award Ticket later, there will be a booking reactivation charge of 80 Euros per passenger in addition to the administrative charges for changing the dates or returning miles.

Can I change the route of a MilesOnly, Miles&Cash or Award Ticket booking?

If you have not completed your online booking, you can indicate new points of origin and destination. It is not possible to change routes after the booking has been completed.Please contact the TAP Miles&Go Customer Service Centre.
