Trip around the world - Exchange miles

    Round the world trip

Plan a trip around the world, pack your bags and set out on an adventure.

    The longest trip ever

Start planning your round the world trip now.

Choose from 1330 possible destinations in 192 countries and start dreaming! The trip you select must be in one direction only, eastward or westward, and it must end in the country where the trip started. It must also cross both the Pacific and the Atlantic.

The round the world ticket is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, and the last flight must start no later than the last day of validity.

You can make your trip over a minimum of 10 days and a maximum of 12 months, with up to 10 legs and 6 intermediate stopovers in any city.

    Round the world ticket

You can make your round the world trip reservation in two ways:

    • Using miles, through the Victoria Program
    • Through Star Alliance

How many miles you need to go round the world?

    250000 miles in Economy Class
    350000 miles in Business Class

To make your reservation using miles, the miles must be converted into an Award Ticket. Find out how to do this here.

If you prefer not to use your miles, you must make your reservation through Star Alliance.

    Terms and conditions

    • Round the world tickets are available in Business Class and Economy Class only on scheduled flights operated by Star Alliance.
    • Round-trip flights are permitted as long as the destination airport and the airport used to initiate the return journey are different (open jaw). However, no more than one international departure and arrival in the country of origin is allowed.
    • Award miles are debited to your miles account when the reservation is confirmed. After the ticket has been purchased, the passenger can change the flight times but cannot change the route.
    • Seat availability varies according to the destination and season chosen. Seats are limited, even on flights not completely full.
