APPACDM (Portuguese Association of Parents and Friends of Mentally Disabled Citizens) promotes the social inclusion of people with disabilities and impairments, obtained with quality of life, ensuring protection of the right to exercise a full citizenship.

The association is distinguished by the qualification and humanization of its services, in which each citizen is considered as a unique human being, considered and valued for their own characteristics and potential, and in this way contributing to shaping society so it provides equal opportunities.

Learn and Share

This sociocultural and academic project aims to promote visits to similar associations in Madrid, to strengthen partnerships. These visits encourage contact with other cultures, developing the playful, yet educational, side that is often missing from the lives of children and young people with a mental disability.

Dreams Come True

Aimed at a more underprivileged public, which does not tend to have the chance to take trips of this nature, this project aims to fulfill previously identified dreams, such as visiting Disneyland Paris and the city of Paris, or London and the Big Ben.

Abraçar (Hug)

To bring solidarity to those most in need, APPACDM created the Abraçar project. The association takes children and young people, with or without disabilities, to Cape Verde and São Tomé and Príncipe, exploring activities in the dancing area, providing moments of joy and contributing with goods identified as necessary.

It is not possible to refund donated miles, which are credited directly to the beneficiary entity's account.
Miles donations are not eligible for tax deduction purposes.
