What is the difference between Bonus Miles and Status Miles?

TAP Miles&Go Miles are credited as Bonus Miles and every time you fly on TAP and flights that are part of the Star Alliance, you earn additional Status Miles.Status Miles are only used to maintain or achieve TAP Miles&Go Silver Client or TAP Miles&Go Gold Client status as they are not added to the available balance in your account that is used for awards.

Can I earn miles on all tickets?

You can earn air miles on tickets issued in your name, with public fares and for flights on TAP and partner airlines.TAP reserves the right to partially exclude certain TAPproducts/types of tickets, forms of payment and/or passengers, as well as certain flights or categories of flights in the TAP Miles&Go Programme on any level.

Miles cannot be earned on MilesOnly Tickets, Miles&Cash Tickets, Child Tickets, Round-the-World or Upgrades.

Can I earn miles if I pay for a journey for someone else?

You can only earn miles if the ticket is in your name and you have made the journey.

Can I earn miles on Award Tickets?

No. Miles cannot be earned on Award Tickets, MilesOnly Tickets, Miles&Cash Tickets, Child Tickets, Round-the-World or Upgrades.

I travelled with TAP and would like to credit my miles to another frequent flyer programme. What did I need to do?

You should contact the frequent flyer programme of which you are a member.

How do I claim miles missing from my air miles statement?

You may reclaim missing miles during the 6 months following the date you used the service. To have the miles credited to your account please make the request using this form. We recommend you keep all of the original documents until the miles are credited and appear on your account statement.

How can I make sure that my miles have been credited?

To ensure your miles are credited, whenever you make a booking be sure to enter the correct TAP Miles&Go Number and that you use the name that is associated with your profile. This way the miles will be automatically credited. You can also use this form to request the credit of miles.

What are the TAP Miles&Go Programme's ground partners?
