Ricardo Costa was born in Aveiro and is a dedicated enthusiast of Portuguese cuisine. His sophisticated and authentic dishes aim to present the best of Portugal, the local products, the traditional recipes, with a contemporary gastronomic approach and innovative techniques. 

He has vast experience in hotels and restaurants. It was at Casa da Calçada in Amarante, where he received his first Michelin Star, in 2008. Since 2010, Ricardo Costa has been the executive chef of The Yeatman, in Gaia, where he has won two Michelin Stars (2011 and 2016), among many other awards.
