Taxes payment is applicable for each passenger.

Applicable to all MilesOnly, Miles&Cash and Award Tickets issued with TAP, Star Alliance and TAP Miles&Go partners.

The value of the fees is applied according to the status of the holder of the TAP Miles&Go Account used. Fees will be applied according to the status at the time of the request.

  • Once MilesOnly or Miles&Cash tickets have been issued (TAP-operated flights only), it is only possible to change the date or flight number (time) and class (in the event there is no availability in the original flight class on the new date on payment of Award Miles in executive class). The route cannot be changed. Exemption from date or flight number penalty is applicable according to the status of the issuing account.
  • All MilesOnly and Miles&Cash Tickets may be cancelled up to 24 hours before departure, providing they have not been partially used and are still valid. Miles will be re-credited with the initial validity date.
  • The service charge for TAP Miles&Go Service Centre is not refundable.
  • The carrier surcharge (YR) and the fee (YQ) on Award Tickets are non-refundable.
  • It is not possible to change flights from award bookings where the TAP Miles&Go Account has been cancelled.
  • The value of the fees is applied according to the status of the issuing account at the time of the request. Examples:
    • If you are a Gold passenger using miles from a Silver account, the Silver status rules (issuance, change, reinstatement) apply.
    • If the Customer has Gold status at the time of requesting the change or reinstatement of miles, the Gold status rules apply.
  • Values were updated and published on the site on December 11, 2023.
  • The new fees will apply only to tickets issued on or after January 11, 2024, except Navigator status Customers, for whom the new fees will apply regardless of the date the ticket was issued, provided the Navigator status is in effect when the ticket is ordered.
