Miles&Go Pets

Use your miles to take your pets on TAP flights, or, if you pay for your booking with money, you’ll earn miles on your purchase.

Take your best friend travelling with you

With TAP Miles&Go you can use your miles to pay for your pet’s journey. If you pay for the trip with money, then you will earn miles.

See how you can use your miles to book a journey for your pet on board our aircraft, and find out how many miles you can earn when travelling with your four-legged friend.

1. Book the trip.

Select the destination and enter your TAP Miles&Go Customer details when booking.

2. Add extras to your flight.

When in extra services, select the option “pets”. You have up to 24 hours before departure to complete the booking.

3. Use your miles to complete the booking.

Select the option “use miles to pay for your extras” on the select extras or payment page.

Choose your destination and enter your TAP Miles&Go Client details during booking.

2. Book the transport for your pet.

You have up to 24 hours prior to departure to make the transport booking.

3. See the miles balance grow!

Check the miles credit of your flight at the same time as the miles credit for transporting your pet.

Miles are earned by sectors travelled and by pet transported.

  1. Offer valid for registered TAP Miles&Go clients who indicate their TAP Miles&Go client number when booking a ticket with cash, and travelling with pets (in the cabin and/or hold) associated with their booking.
  2. Available only on flights operated by TAP or operated on its behalf and TAP Express (except TAP|Discount).
  3. The accumulation of miles is done per segment flown and per animal transported, being 500 miles for animals transported in hold and 250 miles for those transported in cabin, provided they are accompanied by TAP Miles&Go Client duly identified in the reserve.
  4. The offer to earn miles is limited to the space available for the transport of animals in the cabin or hold, depending on the type of aircraft.
  5. The miles for the transport of pets will be credited simultaneously with the credit of miles for the TAP Miles&Go client’s ticket.
  6. If you find that the miles for your pet were not credited automatically, you should send an e-mail to the Miles&Go programme at customer@tapmilesandgo.com.
