Service fees

New! Beginning January 11, 2024, service fees for tickets purchased with miles will be simplified and new values will apply.

As a result, we will be making the following changes at that time:

  • General reduction in miles reinstating fees on TAP bookings;
  • Fee exemption for online bookings on all Ponte Aérea and domestic flights;
  • Reduced fees on online bookings for Continental flights with TAP;
  • Creation of new values for Navigator Customers, namely the exclusive exemption from all miles reinstatement fees and a reduction of the no-show rate;
  • Adjustment of the fees for bookings made with Partners.

The value of the fees is applied according to the status of the holder of the TAP Miles&Go Account used. Fees will be applied according to the status at the time of the request.

  • Once MilesOnly or Miles&Cash tickets have been issued (TAP-operated flights only), it is only possible to change the date or flight number (time) and class (in the event there is no availability in the original flight class on the new date on payment of Award Miles in executive class). The route cannot be changed. As passengers, Gold Customers are exempt from date and flight number change fees.
  • All MilesOnly and Miles&Cash Tickets may be cancelled up to 24 hours before departure, providing they have not been partially used and are still valid. Miles will be re-credited with the initial validity date.
  • The service charge for TAP Miles&Go Service Centre is not refundable.
  • The carrier surcharge (YR) and the fee (YQ) on Award Tickets are non-refundable.
  • It is not possible to change flights from award bookings where the TAP Miles&Go Account has been cancelled.
  • The value of the fees is applied according to the status of the issuing account at the time of the request. Examples:
    • If you are a Gold passenger using miles from a Silver account, the Silver status rules (issuance, change, reinstatement) apply.
    • If the Customer has Gold status at the time of requesting the change or reinstatement of miles, the Gold status rules apply.
