The Morgado do Quintão property has remained in the same family since its establishment in 1810 and has survived the Algarve tourism boom with resilience.
Today, thanks to the commitment to rethinking the status quo and bringing viticulture back to the region's forgotten roots, a new perspective on the Algarve wine industry is being born and the property's gates are open to visitors and experiences.
Morgado do Quintão works with indigenous grape varieties - including the Negramole variety, which exists only in the Algarve region - in an organic regime (under certification), and its wines can be found in all kinds of places, from simple beach restaurants to Michelin-starred restaurants.
