How to become a Gold Customer
As a Gold Customer, you will have access to all the benefits of TAP Miles&Go Silver status.
1This benefit is applicable to tickets containing the Gold Customer number, upon request via the contacts provided on the bottom of this page.
2Only applicable to miles whose validity ends in the current annual accumulation period of miles.
3 The Year-Off allocation period will be a maximum of 12 months as per your annual qualification period. The Customer can apply before the status reassessment and the Year-Off will only be valid until the end of their next annual qualification period. To enjoy this benefit, after staying at least 5 years as aTAP Miles&Go Gold member, you must contact our Contact Center via the contacts shown at the bottom of this page, which will activate it if you have an active TAP Miles&Go Club (Club Basic is excluded from this offer as of February 1st, 2023. This offer is renewable after remaining at least 5 years as TAP Miles&Go Gold Customer. This benefit is unavailable to Gold partners, named Customers, and Gold Corporate.
4Offering the Gold status to a friend is valid only for Customers who have obtained the Gold status through Status Miles or flown segments. Customers who have obtained this status by other means, such as Gold Partners, Status Match, Corporate, nominees, campaigns or others, are excluded from this offer.
5To remain a Gold Customer, you need 50,000 Status Miles or 40 TAP flights/segments flown during the annual Status Miles counting period. Gold, Gold Corporate and/or campaign partners renew the tier by meeting all the conditions described in "Become a Gold Customer " (70,000 Status miles or 50 segments on TAP flights). These conditions do not apply to Status Match Customers, who have specific conditions for status renewal depending on the campaign in effect.
