SAS is one of the partner airlines where you can benefit from the TAP Miles&Go Programme. You can now once again earn miles on flights operated by this partner, as well as use your miles to travel with SAS.

Earn miles

Earning miles is valid on flights operated by SAS, provided the fare is eligible. Find out how to earn miles:

To ensure the automatic crediting of miles, please make sure that:

The name on the booking matches the one registered in your TAP Miles&Go account.
You include your Customer Number (TP) in the reservation or at check-in (if you don’t, you can claim the miles in your account after the trip).

If there is any discrepancy in the name, please contact TAP Miles&Go Customer Service and present an identification document so that the miles can be requested from the partner.

Fares eligible for mileage accrual with this partner

1 Economy Go Light flight (Classes O) = 10% of miles flown;
1 Economy Go Smart flight (Classes E, M, H, Q, V, W, U, R, K, N, L, T, O) = 40% of miles flown;
1 Economy Go Pro flight (Classes E, M, H, Q, V, W, U, R, K, N, L, T) = 40% of miles flown;
1 Economy Plus Smart flight (Classes Y, S, B, P, A) = 125% of miles flown;
1 Economy Plus Pro flight (Classes Y, S, B, P, A) = 125% of miles flown;
1 Business Smart flight (Classes C, D, Z, J) = 200% of miles flown;
1 Business Pro flight (Classes C, D, Z, J) = 200% of miles flown.

Terms and Conditions

All eligible miles are credited as Bonus Miles to your balance and can be redeemed for rewards. Only miles earned when flying with TAP or Star Alliance members are considered Status Miles and count towards Silver and Gold status.
Mile accrual is subject to the terms of the airline operating the flight. Charter flights are excluded.
Any fare not listed above is not eligible for earning miles.
Please note that the booking class of your ticket may not match the relevant class for earning miles.
The Partner Airline may, in accordance with its Terms and Conditions, exclude any fare that has been used for discounts on upgrades.
Miles not automatically credited can be requested within six months after the flight date and are subject to partner approval for crediting.
The request for mileage credit must be made within six months of the activity date and will be processed within a maximum of ninety days.
Mileage claims can only be made eight days after the flight date.
Miles credited to the Customer Account are non-reversible.

Redeem miles

You can use your TAP Miles&Go mileage balance to book Award Tickets on flights operated by SAS through TAP Miles&Go Customer Service.

Terms and Conditions

Airport taxes are added to the amounts shown.
For round-trip tickets (adults and children), the maximum allowed is six segments.
For one-way tickets (adults and children), the maximum allowed is three segments.
Award Tickets are not valid on charter flights.
Waitlists are not permitted.
Additional flights or unscheduled detours beyond the original ticket route (side trips) are not permitted.
A maximum of one stopover is allowed per ticket, only for round-trip travel. One-way travel does not allow stopovers.
It is permitted to start the journey at one point of origin and return from another (open jaw). In this case, miles will be charged based on the destination with the highest mileage requirement.
Combinations are allowed for Award Tickets: for flights with TAP Miles&Go Partner Airlines and TAP.
Once the ticket is issued, you may change the flight times, but you must keep the same route and validity period. Administrative fees may apply. Check fees here.
The validity of Award Tickets is one year after issuance. Some promotions may reduce the ticket validity period.
Award Tickets are refundable if the flights involved have not yet taken place. Administrative fees may apply for the refund of miles.
If you wish to cancel your reservation, you must inform the airline of the cancellation before the flight date, whether you are travelling on an Award Ticket or have used miles for an upgrade. Otherwise, a no-show penalty will be applied in addition to the miles refund request.
Some periods may not be available for certain airlines.
Availability of seats for Award Tickets varies depending on destination and season. The number of seats is limited, even on flights that are not yet fully booked. These awards may not be available on all flights. Please contact TAP Miles&Go Customer Service.
Whenever an itinerary is booked in Business Class, the Business Class mileage rate will apply to the entire journey.
Whenever an itinerary is booked in First Class, the First Class mileage rate will apply to the entire journey.
To fly between islands in the Azores, only 10,000 miles are required.
