From October 1 to 31, 2025, when booking your pet’s flight, you will earn +70% Bonus Miles:

Cargo hold: 850 miles (instead of 500)
Cabin: 425 miles (instead of 250), provided the pet is accompanied by the TAP Miles&Go customer

2 - Add your pet's transport

You can access Manage your Booking or use TAP's Contact Center, a TAP counter at the airport or your Travel Agency. You have up to 24h before your flight departure.

Miles are accumulated per segment flown (one-way or round-trip) and per pet transported.

Terms and Conditions

Offer valid for Customers registered in the TAP Miles&Go Programme who indicate their TAP Miles&Go Customer Number when making the booking of a ticket with money, and who travel with pets (in the cabin and / or in the aircraft's hold) associated with their booking;
Valid only on flights operated by TAP, or operated on its behalf, and by TAP Express (except Discount fare);
The accumulation of miles is done per segment flown (one way or round trip) and per animal transported: 500 miles for animals transported in the aircraft's hold and 250 miles for those transported in the cabin, provided they are accompanied by the TAP Miles&Go Customer duly identified in the booking;
Offer to accumulate miles limited to the space available for transporting animals in the cabin or in the aircraft's hold, depending on the type of aircraft;
The credit of miles for the transport of pets will be made simultaneously with the credit of miles related to the ticket of the TAP Miles&Go Customer;
If you notice that the miles for your animal have not been credited automatically, you should contact us using this form.

Birthday Campaign Terms and Conditions

From October 1 to 31, 2025, all bookings on TAP flights will have mileage accumulation per flown segment (one-way or round-trip) and per transported animal increased by 70%, in celebration of the 7th anniversary of the TAP Miles&Go program, with the credited amounts being 500 regular bonus miles + 350 campaign bonus miles, for a total of 850 miles for animals transported in the cargo hold, and 250 regular bonus miles + 175 campaign bonus miles, for a total of 425 miles for those transported in the cabin, provided they are accompanied by the TAP Miles&Go Customer properly identified in the booking. Campaign miles will be credited up to 30 days after the credit of the regular miles, and travel must be completed by October 31, 2026;
Offer valid for Customers registered in the TAP Miles&Go Program who provide their TAP Miles&Go Customer Number when making a paid ticket booking, and who travel with pets (in the cabin and/or in the cargo hold) associated with their booking;
Valid only on flights operated by TAP, or operated on its behalf, and by TAP Express (except Discount fare);
Mileage accumulation offer limited to the available space for transporting animals in the cabin or in the cargo hold, according to the type of aircraft;
The mileage credit for transporting pets will be made simultaneously with the credit of the miles related to the TAP Miles&Go Customer’s ticket;
If it is found that the miles for your animal were not automatically credited, you must contact us through this form.

1 - Book your trip

Choose your destination and enter your TAP Miles&Go Customer details during the booking process.

2 - Access Manage your Booking and add your pet's transport

Up to 24 hours before your flight departure, enter your booking code and, on the extras selection page, select the "pet" option.

On the extras selection page or on the payment page, select the option “use miles to pay for your extras”.

The pet transportation service can only be paid for with miles if the transport is done in the cabin.
