TAP Miles&Go allows three categories of Upgrades with miles, available through online channels, Contact Center and boarding port:

Early Upgrade: intended for Customers who wish to secure an Upgrade from Economy or Economy Prime to Business in advance from the time of booking. Available through the Contact Center;
Upgrade: allows you to Upgrade in the days before the flight, subject to availability and done through online channels and Contact Center;
Last Minute Upgrade: intended for Silver, Gold and Navigator Customers. Available at the airport's boarding gate.

Terms and Conditions

Upgrades cannot be combined with other offers.
Upgrades can be made on all fares, except group fares.
Upgrades with miles exclude group fare bookings.
The number of miles required to make an Upgrade is always the same, regardless of whether the passenger is an adult or a child.
Payment for the Upgrade with miles is made per segment:
Example (Madeira / Azores - South America): Upgrade Funchal-Lisbon: 12.900 miles + Lisbon-Rio de Janeiro: 68.000 miles.
Example (Madeira / Azores - South America): Last Minute Upgrade Funchal-Lisbon: 11.900 miles + Lisbon-Rio de Janeiro: 57.900 miles.
Example (Madeira / Azores - South America): Early Upgrade Funchal-Lisbon: 14.400 miles + Lisbon-Rio de Janeiro: 81.600 miles.
Example (South America - Europe 1): Upgrade São Paulo-Lisbon: 68.000 miles + Lisbon-Paris: 15.000 miles.
Example (South America - Europe 1): Last Minute Upgrade São Paulo-Lisbon: 57.900 miles + Lisbon-Paris: 14.000 miles.
Example (South America - Europe 1): Early Upgrade São Paulo-Lisbon: 81.600 miles + Lisbon-Paris: 18.000 miles.
Example (Europe 2 - South America): Upgrade Prague: Prague-Lisbon: 18.000 miles + Lisbon-Rio de Janeiro: 68.000 miles.
Example (Europe 2 - South America): Last Minute Upgrade Prague: Prague-Lisbon: 16.900 miles + Lisbon-Rio de Janeiro: 57.900 miles.
Example (Europe 2 - South America): Early Upgrade Prague: Prague-Lisbon: 22.800 miles + Lisbon-Rio de Janeiro: 81.600 miles.
The earning of TAP Miles&Go miles is based on the Class and fare initially booked.
Administrative fees:
Change: 50 euros.
Cancellation: 75 euros.
Exemption: Gold and Navigator Customers as passengers (both fees);
As holders of the account used for issuance, Gold and Navigator Customers are exempt from paying this fee. This exemption applies as long as the account maintains its status at the time of the request for change.

If the miles already expired, they will not be reissued to the Customer's account. Therefore, the refund of the miles must be requested before the miles expire.
The number of miles indicated always refers to one segment only.
The Last Minute Upgrade is only available at the boarding gate and before boarding operations begin. It may not be available on all routes and / or flights for operational reasons.
The Last Minute Upgrade is only available to the traveling Account holder.

The Upgrade with miles in the Star Alliance network can only be carried out if booked with the operatoring Airline. Codeshare flights (partnership between different Airlines) excluded.
Seat availability varies depending on the destination and season chosen. The number of seats is limited even on flights that are not yet fully booked. These awards may not be available on all flights.
