Have a glass of Guinness

Find out about the history of this beer and visit the Guinness Store House, an impressive seven-storey building in the shape of a huge beer glass. Once you know all about the brand and its history, it’s time to relax with a cold pint of Guinness. 

When you’re finished there, make your way to Temple Bar, Dublin’s cultural heart and the centre of its nightlife. This district, with its unique atmosphere, is where you will find many fine restaurants and typical Irish pubs.   

Visit Trinity College and its library

This college, where the elite of Irish society once studied, including Oscar Wilde and Samuel Beckett, is worth visiting. Take the opportunity to visit the old library, home to the famous Book of Kells, an illustrated manuscript written by Celtic monks and considered one of the most important pieces of Irish Christianity.  

You should also take a stroll along Grafton Street, one of the city’s main thoroughfares, linking Trinity College and St Stephen’s Green. Here you will find plenty of shops and lots of street performers.
