TAP Miles&Go Club

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before subscribing to a TAP Miles&Go Club plan.

By subscribing, the user acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions below. These Terms and Conditions are intended to be applied in conjunction with the General Terms, Policies and Conditions of Use of Transportes Aéreos Portugueses,SA (available here), the Terms and Conditions of the TAP Miles&Go Programme, and any other specific terms and conditions communicated to the User via flyTAP at any time (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Terms and Conditions”).

These Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time by Transportes Aéreos Portugueses, SA,or by the TAP Miles&Go Programme, with such changes taking effect upon publication. The user's continued access and use will be deemed an unequivocal acknowledgment that they have read, accepted, and understood the modified Terms and Conditions. By accessing these webpages or making a purchase through them, the Customer consents to be bound by these conditions.

The TAP Miles&Go Club was created for TAP Miles&Go Programme Customers. It is a twelve-month plan that awards Bonus Miles, Status, benefits, and exclusive offers.

1. Subscribing to one of the TAP Miles&Go Club plans constitutes a commitment to loyalty and implies acceptance of the twelve-month validity period;
2. After this period, the plans will not automatically renew for equal terms. The earning of miles and benefits will cease, and the TAP Miles&Go Customer will need to purchase a new plan;
3. It is not possible to subscribe to more than one plan simultaneously. Subscribing to a plan implies that the Customer has knowledge of and accepts the provisions set out in these specific Terms and Conditions applicable to the TAP Miles&Go Club, as well as the provisions of the TAP Miles&Go Programme Terms and Conditions;
4. The subscription transaction is non-reversible and non-refundable.

1. The Customer has 30 days to obtain their renewal miles bonus: 15 days before the Club subscription expires (while it is still active) and 15 days after it ends. If the renewal occurs within 15 days before the expiration of an active TAP Miles&Go Club subscription, the new one will be activated, along with its benefits, after the original subscription expires. Upon expiration of the initial TAP Miles&Go Club subscription, the newly purchased TAP Miles&Go Club subscription will be activated and the renewal miles will be credited. If the miles expire while there is no activeClub subscription, those miles will not be replaced, even if the Customer subsequently purchases a Club subscription offering miles validity extension;

2. Renewing a subscription implies that the Customer has knowledge of and accepts the provisions set out in these specific Terms and Conditions applicable to the TAP Miles&Go Club, as well as the provisions of the TAP Miles&Go Programme General Terms and Conditions;

3. The renewal transaction is non-reversible and non-refundable;

4. Club subscriptions do not renew automatically; it is the Customer's responsibility to renew the plan and check the validity of their Club membership in the Customer Area.

1. After the initial 12-month period, if the Customer has chosen the Monthly Payment via Direct Debit method (and the payment authorization remains active with their Bank), the TAP Miles&Go membership plan will renew automatically for successive 12-month terms, up to a maximum of 60 months, under the aforementioned conditions;

2. The automatic renewal of a TAP Miles&Go Club plan through the Monthly Payment via Direct Debit option will immediately credit the corresponding renewal miles to the Customer, excluding any additional miles from any campaigns that are active at the time of renewal.

1. The tally of TAP Miles&Go plan miles to be credited begins only after you join the Club. Membership miles are Bonus Miles. You will earn Bonus Miles and Status Miles on a monthly basis. Renewal miles consist of Status Miles only. Status Miles help improve the Customer's status during theannual earning period of Status Miles in which they are earned;

2. The tally of Status Miles begins after the first monthly miles have been credited. It is the earning of those miles that contributes to status advancement;

3. Bonus Miles, Status Miles and benefits are personal and are assigned to the TAP Miles&Go Account associated with the active plan. Transferring TAP Miles&Go Club plans between TAP Miles&Go Accounts is not allowed;

4. It is not possible to earn benefits through ground partners other than those specified in the purchased plan;

5. Upon subscription and renewal, the Customer will receive welcome miles. After joining, the Customer will receive miles on the 20th of each month. As long as the TAP Miles&Go Club subscription remains active, the Customer can earn more miles through other benefits included in the purchased plan;

6. The total number of miles advertised can be earned over the plan's 12-month period, provided that all requirements are met (membership miles + monthly miles + flight benefits + Credit Card payment);

7. The number of flight miles to be credited excludes any credits arising from occasional campaigns and / or promotions;

8. For plan renewals that occur within 15 days after the end of the TAP Miles&Go Club plan, no benefits from the old or new plan are guaranteed during that period without an active plan.

1. The tally of TAP Miles&Go plan miles to be credited begins only after the Customer purchases a plan and the corresponding payment has been completed. The allocated monthly number of Bonus Miles and Status Miles will be credited once the monthly fee has been successfully processed, both at the time of joining and with subsequent payments. The miles will be credited upon payment of each monthly or annual fee;

2. Once the first monthly fee has been charged, the TAP Miles&Go Club subscription will be confirmed and the Customer will be able to access its benefits. Upon confirmation of the subscription, the Customer will receive the promotional miles corresponding to the campaign that was active on the date of joining, which will be valid for the first subscription year;

3. The Customer will receive the miles corresponding to the plan that is active on the date of purchase. The miles will be credited once the Customer's bank authorizes the Direct Debit on their account and the Club subscription is activated on the TAP Miles&Go Account.
   Note: If another promotion is active on the date the Customer's Club is activated on their TAP Miles&Go Account, the promotion in effect on the date of purchase will be applied;

4. The monthly miles will be credited after successful payment of each monthly fee, on the date chosen by the Customer (the 1st, 10th or 21st of each month);

5. The Customer may at any time change the IBAN associated with the Direct Debit for their Club subscription monthly fees. This change will take at least three business days to be processed, which means that if the request is not made at least three business days before the payment date, the next monthly fee may still be charged to the previous IBAN.

1. If the Customer has chosen the Monthly Payment via Direct Debit method and the monthly fee is not paid, whether due to a failed payment or any issue in collecting the corresponding amount for reasons beyond TAP Air Portugal's control, resulting in the cancellation of their TAP Miles&Go Club membership, they may rejoin the TAP Miles&Go Club, but only by selecting the Annual Payment by Credit Card method; additionally, any amounts already paid for previous monthly fees will not be refunded. A new subscription using the Monthly Payment via Direct Debit method will only be available after 12 months have elapsed since the first TAP Miles&Go Club subscription made with the same payment method;

2. If the Customer cancels the payment of the plan's monthly fees before the first six full months of each 12-month period have elapsed, their TAP Miles&Go Club membership will be cancelled, and, as a result, the Bonus Miles and Status Miles earned through their Club subscription will be removed, any miles eligible for validity extension as a Club benefit will be withdrawn or no longer extended, and any new status received due to the Club subscription will also be revoked. If the Customer has already used the miles to purchase tickets or other services, those purchases will be cancelled, resulting in a negative balance in their Customer account and a restricted status until the balance is settled;

3. If the Customer cancels the payment of their monthly fees before at least 12 months have elapsed, their TAP Miles&Go Club membership will be canceled, any miles eligible for validity extension as a Club benefit will be withdrawn or no longer extended, and any new status received due to the Club subscription will also be revoked;

4. If the Customer has already used the miles to purchase tickets or other services, those purchases will be cancelled, resulting in a negative balance in their Customer account and a restricted status until the balance is settled;

5. With this payment method, any missed payment after the thirteenth monthly fee—whether due to an insufficient balance or any issue in collecting the corresponding amount for reasons beyond TAP Air Portugal's control—will result in the cancellation of their TAP Miles&Go Club membership, and any miles that have been credited as a result of the subscription renewal will be removed from their miles balance. Any amounts already paid for previous monthly fees will not be refunded.

TAP Miles&Go Club Basic Plan:

• Bonus Miles for joining - 2.000

• Monthly Bonus Miles – 1.000

• Monthly Status Miles – 50

• Renewal Status Miles – 400

• Additional Bonus Miles on TAP flights (the percentage is based on the number of earned miles and credited for the flight in question; the credited amount excludes any miles earned from status bonuses) - 15% up to 5.000 Bonus Miles while the plan is active;

• One-time Bonus Miles credit through a ground partner - 4.000 (after spending 25,000 Millennium bcp Credit Card miles).

TAP Miles&Go Club Extra Plan:

• Bonus Miles for joining – 4.000

• Monthly Bonus Miles – 2.000

• Monthly Status Miles – 100 

• Renewal Status Miles – 800

• Additional Bonus Miles on TAP flights (the percentage is based on the number of earned miles and credited for the flight in question; the credited amount excludes any miles earned from status bonuses) - 20% up to 7.500 Bonus Miles while the plan is active;

• One-time Bonus Miles credit through a ground partner - 6.000 (after spending 25,000 Millennium bcp Credit Card miles).

TAP Miles&Go Club Top Plan:

• Bonus Miles for joining – 8.000

• Monthly Bonus Miles – 4.000

• Monthly Status Miles – 200

• Renewal Status Miles – 2.600

• Additional Bonus Miles on TAP flights (the percentage is based on the number of earned miles and credited for the flight in question; the credited amount excludes any miles earned from status bonuses) - 25% up to 10.,000 Bonus Miles while the plan is active;

• One-time Bonus Miles credit through a ground partner - 8.000 (after spending 25,000 Millennium bcp Credit Card miles);

• Validity extension of up to 30.000 miles – the miles will remain in the account if your Club plan is active on their expiry date (since January 1st, 2022).

TAP Miles&Go Club Platinum Plan:

• Bonus Miles for joining – 16.000

• Monthly Bonus Miles – 8.000

• Monthly Status Miles – 400

• Renewal Status Miles – 5.200

• Additional Bonus Miles on TAP flights (the percentage is based on the number of earned miles and credited for the flight in question; the credited amount excludes any miles earned from status bonuses) - 25% up to 10.000 Bonus Miles while the plan is active;

• One-time Bonus Miles credit through a ground partner - 15.000 (after spending 25.000 Millennium bcp Credit Card miles);

• Miles validity extension – the miles will remain in the account if your Club plan is active on their expiry date. 

TAP Miles&Go Club Platinum+ (The offer applies when available for sale on flyTAP and at a special price):

• Bonus Miles for joining – 38.000

• Monthly Bonus Miles – 10.000

• Monthly Status Miles – 500

• Renewal Status Miles – 6.000

• Additional Bonus Miles on TAP flights (the percentage is based on the number of earned miles and credited for the flight in question; the credited amount excludes any miles earned from status bonuses) - 25% up to 10.000 Bonus Miles while the plan is active;

• One-time Bonus Miles credit through a ground partner - 15.000 (after spending 25.000 Millennium bcp Credit Card miles);

• Miles validity extension – the miles will remain in the account if your Club plan is active on their expiry date.;

• Status: access to Silver benefits, in accordance to the conditions of the tier for an annual qualification period.

1. The price of each plan is as stipulated at any given time on flyTAP;
2. The Customer will be charged in EUR, with the amount reflecting the total cost of each plan;
3. You can pay with a VISA or Mastercard Credit Card.
