Meet the three new partner organizations!
TAP Donate Miles is TAP’s social responsibility initiative, integrated into the TAP Miles&Go Programme, enabling customers to donate miles to partner organisations. These organisations can exchange the miles for travel, helping support reach those who need it most.
Meet the three new social organisations selected for the 2026–2028 period!
These are ADPM—Associação de Defesa do Património de Mértola, Médicos do Mundo and Mundo a Sorrir.
They join the partners selected for the 2024–2026 period: Apoiar, Orbis and Sol Sem Fronteiras. They also join the partners selected for the 2025–2027 period: Leigos para o Desenvolvimento, Make-A-Wish and REFOOD.

ADPM – Associação de Defesa do Património de Mértola
We are delighted to welcome ADPM – Associação de Defesa do Património de Mértola as a new partner of the TAP Donate Miles Programme.
ADPM operates in Portugal, Cape Verde, Mozambique and São Tomé and Príncipe, making a significant contribution to improving the living conditions of local communities.
Médicos do Mundo
We are delighted to welcome Médicos do Mundo as a new partner of the TAP Donate Miles Programme.
In Guinea-Bissau, the organisation implements development cooperation projects that strengthen the healthcare system by empowering professionals and improving access to essential care.
Mundo A Sorrir
We are delighted to welcome Mundo A Sorrir as a new partner of the TAP Donate Miles Programme.
Mundo A Sorrir's mission is to promote health, including oral health, as a universal right, particularly among socioeconomically vulnerable populations.
Leigos para o Desenvolvimento
In 2025, Leigos para o Desenvolvimento worked with women in the Samora Machel neighbourhood in Tete (Mozambique), who are promoters of the project “Akazi Wakumuza Andzao”, and carried out an assessment to guide its intervention in 2026.
In São Tomé and Príncipe, in Praia Melão, it supported capacity building among women, especially the palaiês (local women traders), and assisted two local associations in their structural adaptation.
Make-A-Wish
In 2025, Make-A-Wish, with the support of the TAP Donate Miles – Causes with Wings Programme, granted 15 wishes, directly impacting 53 passengers and, indirectly, their families, healthcare professionals and partners.
Tiago’s visit to the TAP Air Portugal hangar stands out as a particularly meaningful and emotional experience.
REFOOD
In 2025, REFOOD began expanding internationally to Valencia, Madrid, Berlin, and Luanda, addressing food waste and insecurity.
Supported by Causes with Wings and international partners, the first phase included exploratory trips and meetings to assess adapting and replicating the REFOOD model in different urban contexts.
Apoiar
In 2025, Apoiar – Associação Portuguesa de Apoio a África, with the support of donated miles, sent its teams to Mozambique to strengthen project management on the ground.
In the provinces of Niassa, Tete and Sofala, it implemented initiatives in maternal and child health, education, sponsorship, school feeding, youth training, clean energy and livelihoods, including the distribution of surplus TAP blankets.
Orbis
In 2025, ORBIS - cooperration and Development worked in Angola, Guinea-Bissau, and São Tomé and Príncipe, monitoring local projects.
In Angola, it oversaw care homes and proposed initiatives in education. In Guinea-Bissau, the sponsorship programme “ONE Child, ONE Future!” and the scholarships initiative “My Dream is to Study!” stood out. In São Tomé and Príncipe, it inaugurated the kitchen and covered outdoor area at Creche Santo Isidoro and purchased local handicrafts for the Solidarity Trade initiative.
Sol Sem Fronteiras
In 2025, Sol Sem Fronteiras developed projects in Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and Brazil.
In Guinea-Bissau, it supported initiatives including preparations for the P. Jonas Kindergarten and the review of education and inclusion projects. In São Paulo, it supported volunteer work and socio-educational programmes for children and young people. In Nampula, it identified the “Build to Include” project, focused on inclusive pre-school education.

How to become a partner entity
The TAP Donate Miles Programme is not currently receiving applications from social organisations.
We appreciate your interest in and enthusiasm for this TAP social responsibility initiative.
