Terms & Conditions
1. Campaign Scope and Period
This campaign is valid for tickets issued exclusively on flytap.com, Brazil market version, between 10:00 on September 10 and 23:59 on September 30, 2026 (Brasília Time), or until the campaign fund is exhausted, whichever occurs first, for travel on flights operated by TAP Air Portugal, to Portugal, paid for using an eligible Visa card in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, and with a departure date up to and including September 30, 2026.
The return date may be later than September 30, 2026. The booking must include both an outbound and a return flight.
2. Offer of a percentage value of 10% Cashback on the Purchase of Tickets
Discounts are granted on a sequential, first-come, first-served basis according to the order in which eligible flight booking(s) are paid for using an eligible Visa card, as defined in Clause 5, until the campaign fund allocated to the respective market is exhausted. The total campaign fund for the Brazilian market is 200,000.00 EUR (two hundred thousand euros). Discounts are granted exclusively based on the chronological order in which eligible bookings are paid for.
Once the total campaign fund has been exhausted, or once the campaign period referred to in Clause 1 has ended, no subsequent passenger shall be entitled to the discount, even if they use an eligible Visa card to purchase tickets and meet all other eligibility requirements.
One (1) 10% percentage discount is granted per passenger included in an eligible booking, regardless of age. For the purposes of this clause, "passenger" means each ticket holder included in the booking.
3. Application of the Discount
The corresponding amount will be processed to the same payment method used for the purchase within a maximum of 48 hours after payment confirmation.
TAP Air Portugal shall not be liable for failure to receive a confirmation email due to errors in the email address provided by the passenger or due to spam filters. The passenger is responsible for providing a valid email address and regularly checking their inbox.
4. Use of the Discount
The discount is conditional upon full payment at checkout on flytap.com using an eligible Visa card, as defined in Clause 5(f). Use of any other payment method will result in the automatic and definitive forfeiture of the discount, regardless of compliance with any other conditions.
5. Eligibility Conditions
Bookings are eligible for the discount only if they meet all of the following conditions:
a) round-trip travel on flights operated by TAP Air Portugal;
b) flights to Portugal;
c) flight booking date within the Campaign Period, from 10 September through 30 September 2026, inclusive;
d) any travel date within the validity period of the ticket;
e) booking made exclusively on flytap.com, on the Brazilian market version of the website, during the campaign period;
f) full payment made with an eligible Visa card. An "eligible Visa card" means a Visa card issued in the same market (Brazil) as the website version through which the booking is made. The card issuance market and booking market must therefore coincide. Bookings paid, in whole or in part, with miles, loyalty program points, vouchers, gift cards, or any other instruments that do not constitute legal tender are excluded.
6. Non-Accumulation
This campaign may not be combined with any other discounts, promotions, offers, or promotional codes.
7. Discount Features
The offer consists of a 10% percentage discount granted through the use of an eligible Visa card as the payment method and applied to the total price of the airline ticket booking purchased in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
The discount is not redeemable for cash, is non-refundable, and may not be transferred to another booking or to a third party.
8. Cancellations and Changes to the Reservation
8.1 Any total or partial cancellation of the flight booking that gave rise to the discount will result in the automatic and immediate loss of the discount, without replacement, refund, or compensation in a new booking. In the event of a booking refund, the value of the discount shall not be included in the refunded amount.
8.2 Changes to the original booking that preserve eligibility, namely changes made during the Campaign Period, maintaining the original payment with an eligible Visa card, shall not result in the loss of the discount. Changes involving the issuance of a new ticket, or a partial refund of the amount paid will result in the automatic loss of the discount, with no possibility of granting a new discount to a subsequent booking.
8.3 In the event of reasonable suspicion of irregularity or fraud involving the use of a Visa card or compliance with the campaign conditions, TAP Air Portugal reserves the right to cancel the discount and charge the passenger the corresponding amount.
9. Campaign Changes, Suspension and Cancellation
TAP Air Portugal reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel this campaign, in whole or in part, at any time for operational, technical, legal, or force majeure reasons, or due to exhaustion of the fund referred to in Clause 2, provided that notice is given through the channels where the campaign was promoted and without prejudice to rights already acquired by passengers who had been granted the discount before such amendment, suspension, or cancellation.
10. Limitation of Liability
TAP Air Portugal shall not be liable for:
a) any changes to the terms and conditions governing the use of Visa cards. In such circumstances, cardholders must contact their card issuer directly and shall not be entitled to any compensation from TAP Air Portugal;
b) technical unavailability of the Visa payment system preventing application of the discount at checkout, provided TAP has taken reasonable measures to ensure normal service operation;
c) early exhaustion of the campaign fund, even if it occurs before the end of the initially planned campaign period;
d) early termination of the contractual relationship between TAP Air Portugal and Visa resulting in the discontinuation of the campaign, without prejudice to rights already acquired by passengers who obtained the discount before such termination.
11. Eligibility of Participants
Employees of Transportes Aéreos Portugueses, S.A., its subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as their spouses and direct-line relatives, are not eligible to participate in this campaign. Bookings made through travel agencies, tour operators, consolidators, or any intermediary other than the flytap.com website are also excluded.
12. Protection of Personal Data
Transportes Aéreos Portugueses, S.A., also trading as TAP Air Portugal, a public limited company with registered office at Edifício 25, Lisbon Airport, 1700-008 Lisbon, Olivais, Lisbon, Portugal, with share capital of 264,578,136.00 EUR and registered with the Lisbon Commercial Registry Office under corporate registration number 500 278 725 ("TAP"), is the controller responsible for processing personal data collected in connection with this campaign.
In the context of this campaign, TAP processes passengers' personal data (including name, contact details, and booking information) for the purposes of managing the booking and air transport contract on the basis of contract performance, and for applying and administering the campaign discount on the basis of TAP's legitimate interest in commercially promoting its services.
TAP does not share any personal data with third parties in connection with this campaign.
Passengers may exercise their rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, and may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt. 13. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes arising from this campaign shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Lisbon District Court, without prejudice to consumer protection rights granted by applicable law and the passenger's right to make use of alternative consumer dispute resolution mechanisms as provided for under applicable legislation.
