TAP informs that some customers are receiving fraudulent notifications via email, stating that they are entitled to receive compensation due to a delayed flight. This notification redirects to a link that is a fraud scheme. We advise our customers who receive this message to delete it without clicking on the link:

- Travelling to Accra, Bissau*, Dakar*, Praia**, Sao Vicente and Sao Tome:
- Summer – from 10 June 2023 to 10 September 2023*
- Christmas/New Year’s – from 9 December 20223 to 8 January 2024*
- Easter – from 15 March 2024 to 31 March 2024
- Departing from Accra:
- Summer – from 10 June 2023 to 10 September 2023
- New Year’s – from 25 December 2023 to 8 January 2024*
- Easter – from 01 April 2024 to 07 April 2024
*Note: The final destination Bissau, the Christmas period will be brought forward to November 11, 2023 and the summer period will be extended with an embargo until September 29, 2023.
Final destination Dakar, the summer period should only be considered from June 24, 2022 to September 30, 2022.
The trips whose destination is Accra, Bissau, Dakar, Praia, São Tomé and São Vicente and whose origin is Accra will not allow excess baggage (weight and / or dimensions) on the allowance associated with the fare, the purchase of extra baggage, nor the transportation of animals, sports equipment or musical instruments dispatched to the hold. The number of pieces accepted will be in accordance to what is indicated on the ticket and, for each piece, the sum of the three dimensions (height + length + width) cannot exceed 158cm, with a maximum weight of 23kg, in Economy and 32kg, in Executive Class.
**Note: On flights from Lisbon to Praia (operated by aircraft B763), there will be no embargo during the summer of 2023 regarding the purchase of regular baggage (either the first, second or more pieces). Regarding the transport of special baggage (sports equipment, music equipment, etc.), conditions remain unchanged.
This restriction is applied to all tickets, regardless of the product that is acquired or the Passenger’s Frequent Flyer status, with the exception of Discount tickets, where it is possible to add the transport of one piece of baggage.
