Miles Store

Miles Store transactions are not reversible and payments are not refundable.

Before doing them, read the conditions carefully.

1. The Miles Store allows you to buy, extend or transfer miles to another TAP Miles&Go Account, and also convert Bonus Miles into Status Miles;

2. The purchase, transfer, extension of validity or conversion of Bonus Miles into Status Miles is only permitted in blocks of 2.000 Bonus Miles;

3. The frequency of transactions (purchase, transfer, extension or conversion), as well as the number of miles to be transacted, are limited and vary depending on the type of transaction;

4. TAP Miles&Go miles cannot be exchanged for cash;

5. These transactions have an associated charge. Payment is made by Credit Card. The Credit Cards valid for these transactions are those available on the market where the transactions are carried out. For some markets these transactions may be subject to an international processing fee.

1. The frequency of purchases and the number of miles you can buy are limited. A maximum of 200.000 miles can be purchased per year;

2. All miles purchased, transferred or whose expiration date is extended are considered Bonus Miles and cannot be refunded;

3. All miles purchased and transferred are valid for an additional earning period of Status Miles of at least twelve months;

4. The transfer of miles is only possible between TAP Miles&Go Accounts and the miles are accumulated in the account indicated for the transfer. The costs associated with this transaction are borne by the Customer transferring the miles.

1. Extending the validity of miles is only applicable to the number of Bonus Miles about to expire and is done in blocks of 2.000 miles. The difference in value between the selected block of miles and the value of the miles about to expire is not credited;

2. The miles validity extension feature is not available for retroactive expiration periods. This transaction must be completed before the miles expire;

3. This extension of validity is only possible for miles that are due to expire on the next miles expiry date. Extended miles will be valid for three additional earning period of Status Miles (three years).

1. The number of miles that can be transferred is limited. The maximum limit for transferring miles per year is 20.000 miles;

2. All transferred miles are considered Bonus Miles and cannot be refunded;

3. All transferred miles are valid for one additional annual earning period of Status Miles, at least another twelve months;

4. The transfer of miles is only possible between TAP Miles&Go Accounts and the miles are accumulated in the account indicated for the transfer. The costs associated with this transaction are borne by the Customer transferring the miles.

Converting Bonus Miles into Status Miles allows you to maintain a status or achieve a higher status. This conversion may be carried out in cases where the Customer is unable to reach the necessary Status Miles limit by the end of the annual earning period of Status Miles. This operation must be completed by the end of the Customer's accumulation period and is subject to a fee, which the Customer must pay by Credit Card.

The conversion of Bonus Miles into Status Miles can only be done in blocks of 2.000 miles, with each block of 2.000 Bonus Miles being worth 50% in Status Miles (i.e. 1.000 Status Miles).

The frequency of conversion of Bonus Miles into Status Miles as well as the number of miles to be converted is limited to the annual earning period of Status Miles and the status of the TAP Miles&Go Customer (Miles, Silver and Gold).

The Bonus Miles to Status Miles conversion feature will not be available for retroactive Status Miles accrual periods.

If you are Miles and want to upgrade to Silver:

• To become Silver you need 30.000 Status Miles;
• You must have at least 25.000 Status Miles in your account to be able to convert;
• You can convert up to 10.000 Bonus Miles into 5.000 Status Miles.

If you are already Silver and want to maintain your status:

• To stay Silver you need 20.000 Status Miles;
• You must have at least 15.000 Status Miles in your account to be able to convert;
• You can convert up to 10.000 Bonus Miles into 5.000 Status Miles.

If you are Silver and want to upgrade to Gold:

• To become Gold you need 70.000 Status Miles;
• You must have at least 60.000 Status Miles in your account to be able to convert;
• You can convert up to 20.000 Bonus Miles into 10.000 Status Miles.

If you are already Gold and want to maintain your status:

• To stay Gold, you need 50.000 Status Miles;
• You must have at least 45.000 Status Miles in your account to be able to convert;
• You can convert up to 10.000 Bonus Miles into 5.000 Status Miles.

If you are Gold and want to become Navigator:

• To become Navigator you need 125.000 Status Miles or seventy flights flown with TAP. For both, ten flights must be made at Plus, Prime, Top Prime, Executive or Top Executive fares;
• You must have at least 115.000 Status Miles in your account to be able to convert;
• You can convert up to 20.000 Bonus Miles into 10.000 Status Miles.

If you are already Navigator and want to maintain your status:

• To remain Navigator, you need 100.000 Status Miles or seventy flights flown with TAP. For both, ten flights must be made at Plus, Prime, Top Prime, Executive or Top Executive fares;
• You must have at least 95.000 Status Miles in your account to be able to convert;
• You can convert up to 10.000 Bonus Miles into 5.000 Status Miles.
