Important information
On May 4, new mileage requirements for around-the-world trips will take effect. The updated requirements will be as follows: 450.000 miles in Economy and 550.000 miles in Business. These requirements will take effect on May 4, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Mainland Portugal time.
If your ticket was issued before this date, the original terms and conditions remain in effect.

Book and travel around the world
- You have two options for booking your trip around the world: through the TAP Miles&Go Programme or through Star Alliance partners.
The ticket
- Single ticket: valid for all Star Alliance members in Economy or Business;
- The around-the-world ticket is valid for one year from the date of issue.
The trip
- The trip must conclude in the country of origin;
- The trip can be towards the West or to the East, but at all times in the same direction;
- A maximum of six stops exceeding 24 hours are permitted;
- The route must include crossing the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean;
- The route cannot consist of more than 10 flights.
