This is a new travel option between Economy and Business on long-haul flights. This cabin has 12 seats, which are located in the first three rows of Economy. Each row has four seats, so each passenger enjoys an empty seat next to them.

An electronic ticket, or e-ticket, is a digital, personal and non-transferable document that is sent to you by email and is proof of your booking. With the e-ticket, your booking is stored securely in our database, without loss or damage, making the whole process more practical and reducing paper waste.

A direct flight and a layover flight differ in the way the Passenger reaches their final destination. With a direct flight, the Passenger travels directly from the departure point to the destination, without intermediate stops or plane changes. With a layover flight, the Passenger has to make one or more intermediate stops, changing planes, until reaching the final destination.
"Multi-city" allows you to create complex and customized itineraries according to your needs and preferences, including several origin and destination cities in the same booking. In other words, instead of booking a round trip between two cities, you can add several flight segments in different cities, starting at one point of origin and ending at another. You can add up to six segments.
It means that one of the flights of your itinerary is operated by another Airline and there may be restrictions on the services provided.
Connection time refers to the time interval between two consecutive flights at a connection, from the arrival of the first to the departure of the second, thus determining the time available to make the flight transfer. Whenever the layover is longer than 6 hours, you will be alerted to the "extended connection time" on the selection page (under each flight) as well as on the purchase and confirmation pages, and in the confirmation email.

Overbooking is a common practice in the aviation industry and consists of selling more seats than the ones available on the plane. It involves the use of advanced flight management systems, which predict possible cancellations and / or no-shows by multiple passengers.In specific situations, when this does not happen and results in overbooking, TAP asks for volunteers who can postpone their trip and give up their seat to another passenger in exchange for a compensation. In the event of insufficient volunteers, affected passengers are relocated until they reach their final destination with the right to a compensation in accordance with company regulations and policy.
Your baggage is transferred to your next flight. However, if you decide not to travel or your alternative flight is on another day, you can ask to collect your baggage and it will be delivered to you.
The TAP team, which will activate your protection / rerouting flight, will guarantee the auxiliary services that were purchased for the original flight. If this is not possible, you must contact us using the requests and complaints form to get a refund.
All passengers affected by this situation, regardless of whether they volunteer or not, will be assigned a rerouting flight and are entitled to the corresponding compensation, in accordance with the current legislation. Monetary compensations will be paid, whenever possible, by card, which you can use to make payments like with any other debit card or to withdraw money from an ATM.
If you agree to volunteer, the compensations may be negotiated. You will also be relocated on the next available flight. Tickets issued in the USA, Canada and Brazil are subject to different conditions: in these countries, no refund processing fee will be charged if the refund request is submitted within 24h of purchase and the trip is scheduled to begin more than 7 days after the purchase date, regardless of the channel used to submit the request.

If you did not report the damage to your baggage at the airport, you have up to 7 days after receiving your baggage to complain in writing using the complaints form. When completing this form, please attach photographs of the damage to your baggage and fill it out with as much information as possible.
You must contact Lost & Found to coordinate the return of baggage that is not yours, and you must open a lost baggage report by filling out the online Lost & Found form (you must attach as much information as possible about your baggage).
If you are outside your country of residence and have had essential expenses, such as toiletries or underwear, you must file a complaint as soon as possible after the delay. Please attach the invoices for these purchases so that we can analyze the refund request.
