Cancun, endless sea and blue sky

It is one of TAP's new routes for 2021 and an unmissable destination. Cancun is a city in Mexico world renowned for its fantastic white sandy beaches and stunning turquoise waters in the Caribbean.

With a wide range of tourist infrastructure, Cancun is one of the best destinations in the world for the quantity and quality of the attractions it offers: nature and adventure programs, archaeological sites, culture and Mayan history, amazing gastronomy and a dazzling nightlife.

Relax and immerse yourself in the beauty of the beaches Las Perlas, Tortugas, Delfines or Chac Mool, almost all with Blue Flag, and take a stroll to Isla Mujeres, Cozumel or Playa del Carmen. Since the city is located on the Yucatan Peninsula, don't miss the opportunity to get to know the Mayan city of Tulum and visit the Kukicán pyramid in Chichen Itzá

Salvador, warm and crystal clear waters in the City of Music

Center of Afro-Brazilian culture, and recognized as "City of Music" by UNESCO, Salvador is synonymous with joy, dance, warmth and gastronomy to eat and cry for more. In the middle of the tropical zone, the city offers some of the best beaches in Brazil to those who visit it.

Whether in Porto da Barra Beach, Farol da Barra Beach, Ondina Beach or in the beautiful Itapuã Beach, you will always have warm, blue and crystal clear waters, clear sand and cinematic landscapes. For those who like to get out of the city's hustle and bustle and get to know the surroundings, Buracão Beach, Stella Maris Beach and Flamengo Beach are a must-see.

Having been the first headquarters of the Portuguese colonial administration in Brazil, Salvador is also a city full of history and culture. Take a break from the beach and walk the streets of Pelourinho, go to a Sunday Mass in the Church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos (from an astonishing religious syncretism), visit the Fundação Casa de Jorge Amado, the famous baiano writer, and the Modern Art Museum of Bahia.

If you come back without tasting an unforgettable acarajé, sweet and salty tapioca and a seafood moqueca, the experience will not be complete.

Tenerife, the largest island in the Canaries

Some say that the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is one of the best places in the world to live. In fact, the whole island is a wonderful natural paradise. With a subtropical climate and contrasting landscapes, Tenerife invites you to sunbathe and swim in the sea, surf, climb and wander the streets of historic cities.

Here you can find the highest point in Spain, the volcano Teide, almost four thousand meters high, whose natural park is a national treasure. Walking in the forest of the Anaga Rural Park will give you the feeling of being in a fairy tale and when visiting Los Gigantes you will feel part of a prehistoric tale.

Don't miss Santa Cruz de Tenerife, famous for its Carnival, and the historic center of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You can choose between the white sand from the Sahara or the volcanic black sand. Either way, holidays in Tenerife are always synonymous with rest and mandatory tan.

Gran Canaria, 500 kilometers of coastline

The third largest island in the Canary Islands offers you stunning beaches, with white sand and crystal clear blue waters.

The beach of Maspalomas is one of the most beautiful in the world, with its enigmatic dunes and its unbelievably blue sea. Enjoy getting to know the area in a buggy or simply on an unconventional camel ride. The lively Playa del Inglés has almost three kilometers of clear and soft sand, with sports facilities for jet skiing, para-gliding, kite-surfing and surfing. Lose yourself in the turquoise waters of Playa de Amadores and enjoy the animation of the famous Las Canteras, the golden beach of the city of Las Palmas.

However, Gran Canaria's fascination doesn't end in its beaches. Las Palmas, the capital, has a very rich historical and cultural center, from which you can go and explore the volcanic boilers and the cliffs of the island, Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga, and also the mountain road between Tejeda and Artenara. We guarantee you that the views are breathtaking.

Sal, "no stress"

Sal is one of the smallest and flattest islands in Cape Verde. Its volcanic origin gives it an unfathomable lunar landscape and its proximity to the African continent feeds its extensive white sandy beaches, carried by winds from the Sahara desert. Besides the beautiful beaches, you can also enjoy the warm waters, of a deep blue, hotels for all tastes and the "morabeza" of Cape Verdeans: the art of welcoming those who visit them.

Once in Sal, the most important thing is to relax or "no stress", as the locals say to newcomers. In fact, Santa Maria beach, a turquoise oasis two kilometers long, Praia de Serra Negra, one of the island's best kept secrets, and Praia da Ponta Preta, the favorite of kite-surfing lovers, invite you to rest and wander along the sea side.

However, it is mandatory to interrupt your lethargy and get to know Salinas de Pedra Lume, one of the most photogenic places in the world, the famous Olho Azul in Buracona, and Shark Bay, in Baía da Parda. Kite and windsurfing, surfing and diving are mandatory experiences for those who visit the island, whose energy expenditure can be recovered in the fantastic local restaurants, many of them with live music. It is a sin to leave Sal without tasting the traditional sweaty lobster, the tuna steak and the grilled grouper and saw-fish.
