TAP Miles&Go Program

The TAP Miles&Go Programme has three different client status: TAP Miles&Go, Silver and Gold.The basic level is TAP Miles&Go. Depending on your number of Status Miles or number of flights (segments) on TAP-operated flights, you may reach the other two levels: Silver and Gold.For more details on the three TAP Miles&Go Programme levels, click here.
Because we want to offer special benefits to all our Customers, it is now easier to become a Silver, Gold, or Navigator Customer. For the TAP Miles&Go Silver status, you must accumulate 30,000 Status Miles or 25 flights (segments) operated by TAP during your annual qualification period. Your status will change as soon as you reach this total. To obtain the TAP Miles&Go Gold status in the same annual period, you must accumulate a total of 70,000 Status Miles or 50 flights (segments) operated by TAP. To reach the TAP Miles&Go Navigator status, you must accumulate 125,000 Status Miles or 70 TAP flights during your annual qualification period. In both cases, 10 flights must be made on Plus, Executive, or Top Executive fares.
Your annual qualifying period begins the month after the month in which you join. For example: You joined the TAP Miles&Go program on March 12, 2010. Your Status Miles and flights (segments) operated by TAP will be counted from April 1st, 2010, to March 31st, 2011, and so on. From the beginning of your new annual qualification period, you must begin accumulating Status Miles or flights (segments) operated by TAP to maintain your status as a Silver, Gold, or Navigator Customer.

The annual qualification period is the time in which you can qualify to move to a higher Customer status or qualify again for your current status.
TAP Miles&Go Customer: Your annual qualifying period begins the month after the month in which you join. You will have 12 months to accumulate Status Miles or flights (segments) operated by TAP and/or other conditions to qualify for the next status. Example: You signed up for the TAP Miles&Go program on March 12, 2010. The count will take place between April 1st, 2010, and March 31st, 2011. You can see the joining date in your TAP Miles&Go Account.
You can ask our Assistance Center to change your profile name by using the form available on the website and providing proof of the name change.
No. If you travel under a name other than the one on your TAP Miles&Go Account, you will not be eligible for any status benefits during your trip, nor will you be able to earn miles automatically. For your trip benefits to be acknowledged, you must use your first and last name when making your booking, as per your ID, and the name on the booking must match the one on your TAP Miles&Go Customer card.
