A dream? Cancún and everything that surrounds it.

Whether you're looking for an all-inclusive "bracelet" holiday, or for an adventure and discovery one, flying to Cancún can be the answer.

In any case, the scenery will be of golden sands and warm bright turquoise waters, as promised by all dreams. The beach is, of course, mandatory on this holiday, but there is so much more. Venture into local cuisine, try new experiences and discover ancient treasures.

Beaches of Cancún, never-ending blue sea and skies

If the beach is your election, your love for this region will only grow after you visit it. Dive into the beauty of some of the most incredible beaches in the world, and whether you have little time and have to choose, or want to collect all stamps, here are some suggestions.

The sea water on the Tortugas beach almost looks like a natural, calm and crystal clear pool, inviting you to prolonged baths and snorkeling. Ideal for relaxing, it is prepared for beach sports (volleyball and football).

From here you can also board a ferry to Isla Mujeres, a must-visit for those visiting Cancún.

The Langosta beach - whose name comes from the gathering of lobsters that took place there - is also one of the beaches you should consider, whether you are traveling with children or looking for a peaceful environment. And if in addition to resting, you want to avoid the masses without sacrificing the opportunity to swim in paradisaical waters, know that there is an almost secret treasure to visit: Nizuc beach.

Go to the Delfines, Chac Mool or Marlín beaches if what you're looking for is a more exciting type of leisure. Surfing, para-gliding, water skiing, these are some of the ideal activities you can do on these beaches. In the latter two, you can even watch, between August and November, at night, the spawning and "release" of turtles into the ocean. It is a promise: It will be unforgettable.

The heart of Cancún and around it, a destination not to be forgotten

Not far south of Cancún is the Riviera Maya, a tourist destination as famous as the first. Most tourists in the region arrive precisely at Cancún's International Airport and then head to the "paradise on earth" of their election. The proposition is made, whether you want a longer holiday in order to visit more places, or even if you want to return.

In addition to the amazing beaches of the region, look for the wonderful cenotes of the Riviera Maya (they are more than six thousand!). You can further broaden your horizons and visit the Mayan city of Tulum and the pyramid of Kukicán in Chichen Itzá, one of the "New Seven Wonders of the World."

To visit a new destination is to become richer, and this wealth comes from what we see, the people we meet, the stories we keep, and even the food we taste.

Regarding gastronomy, there's a lot to explore in Cancún and the Mayan Riviera, just like anywhere else in the world. Here you can find traditional and familiar, modern or fusion, street or "exquisite" food restaurants. The natural curiosity that accompanies tourism in the region has also reached the cuisine, so you can count on its diversity and quality. These will undoubtedly be some holidays full of flavor.
